About this deity

Laddu Gopal is the infant Krishna — crawling, mischievous, holding a butter-ball or laddu in his hand. Many North Indian families raise Laddu Gopal as a member of the household, dressing him daily, feeding him, and singing him to sleep.

Hand-painted enamel work in the meenakari tradition — each colour band laid into engraved channels, fired, and polished. The craft is centuries old; the technique cannot be machined. The piece is solid brass throughout — there is no plating, no hollow shell.
