About this deity
Maa Ganga, the river-goddess, descended from the heavens through Shiva's matted hair to purify the earth. She is depicted on her makara (crocodile) mount, holding a kalash, eternally pouring.

The piece is finished in polished plain brass — bright, golden, and warm — with hand-engraved detailing where present. It will deepen in tone slightly with age. Care & placement
Light with cotton wicks soaked in pure ghee or sesame oil. Place on a stable, heat-safe surface. Wipe clean after each use.
